“Because Ring no longer sells a hard wiring kit for these cameras I asked their technical support for
assistance . They recommended the Nextbase kit , which I then bought on their recommendation .
The kit connection to the camera base is angled , and prevents the rear camera plug from being
plugged in . They then told me to buy another converter cable to add to the wiring .
I am waiting for that cable to arrive . On attempting the install , the "instructions" in the box were almost useless , with no description of how to set it up within the app.
The whole experience has taken days of searching for youtubes and blogs to work it out .
Having purchased and used several Ring products over the past year , it seemed a good choice when
I ordered two kits .
I am now stuck with the first one not yet working , and very little confidence that it ever will.

“I have been using for 2 months, it looks like a cheap camera for £10 however it works really well. The quality of recording during the day is good, and the quality at night is a bit worse. Overall a really good product recommend it to anyone.”
