The Skar Audio VD-10 D4 is a 10-inch, dual 4-ohm, shallow mount car subwoofer. This woofer was engineered to sound great and handle ample amounts of power all while maintaining a shallow foot print, which allows them to be very versatile in use. This driver utilizes a high temperature 2-inch voice coil, which in conjunction with its powerful, yet low profile single stack ferrite magnet, allow it to perform with dominance.

The VD series make for a great under seat subwoofer or for use in applications where mounting depth is limited. A competition grade pressed paper cone, high roll foam surround, and 2-layer conex spider allow the VD-10 to perform reliably for hours on end. “These speakers are the best took it easy with them for a while so I can break them in now that I have them broken in I could crank up the volume and man these things are awesome you have to get some don't think about it just buy them thank you skar.”

“Sub is much larger then most shallow mount subs. I actually had to check the box to make sure it was the right product after opening. Also not impressed with how it preforms. I have it running on the 5ch skar amp and I feel it just does not put out alot of bass like it should.”

“Good sub for what it is. Shallow mount is never gonna hit as hard as A regular sub. But for the lack of space I had to work with it, they sound good and the price was even better.”

“Great subs! Really nice bass and loud! Great quality. Replaced kicker shallow mount comp subs with these subs and these hit harder and louder!”

“Rubber gaskets don’t match up to mountings hole on all three woofers. One mountings wood screw went in at a angle and tore surrounding rubber.”
