“I actually haven't used it with my steam carpet cleaning machine yet but I did dilute it 1:10 ratio in a 32oz spray bottle and it works magnificently. My dog went into heat before we could get her spayed, and until we could find diapers that fit her, I had to constantly clean up small spots of blood on the carpet. This stuff, as well as Skout's Honor Stain & Odor remover works like magic! I ran out of the regular Stain & Odor remover solution which is why I made this diluted version...I was in a pinch. Worked wonderfully and I don't have to worry about any toxic chemical getting on me or my dog while it dries.”
“I've had a cat spraying everything that is vertical and tried many other products from diy to store bought. I'm still dealing with a bit of smell but this rug shampoo got most of it the first time. I've shampoo'd some places twice and the smell is getting much better. The scent is not strong like some of the other products, which I like. I'm giving it 4 stars because it's still a work in progress but so far, I'm very pleased. I have ordered the product twice so that's saying something.”
“The smell is not good at all. The performance however is (for me and my use) 'as advertised'. You will want to dilute this. I started with about 1/12th of the bottle with a half a gallon of water and found that it produced a large amount of foam so I diluted again. I took the diluted mixture and diluted that again about 10 parts water to 1 part diluted mixture. It seems to be the right mixture for the job I had to do. The smell is not good but it is not irritating after dilution and use. It doesn't seem to 'linger' so far. I am using an additional product to compensate for the lack of scent. I like that this product is non-toxic and biodegradable and that a purchase provides a meal for an animal. I have a lot of animals so I am very picky when it comes to what I will use around them.”
“We got a puppy and as puppies do they make puddles on the carpet. While we clean it up as soon as we notice we shampoo a couple of times a week to really get the carpet clean and help with the oder. Everyone told me this was the best. Other than having a pleasant smell it did nothing for my carpet. Given how expensive this was for a half gallon bottle and it‚Äôs poor performance, I won‚Äôt recommend this to anyone.”
