“My girl is half Maltese, half ShihTzu. Her white hair is soft and silky like cotton, which is the beautiful trait of the Maltese. But this trait also tends to cause matting and itching, especially as the hair grows longer.
COVID meant no more grooms, for an undetermined amount of time. I usually bathe my Bella in between grooms, and when I saw the ad for this product on Facebook, I decided to give it a try.
I'm so glad I did! I'm pretty sure Bella is happy too. While blow drying her hair, I found little mats that I hadn't noticed before her bath were easily sliding off into the hairbrush with no pulling or pain on Bella's part. Once dried, her hair was fluffy and soft, which is typical. What isn't typical is that one week later, she remains fluffy and soft, and itch free! No mats, no scratching, and no dulling of her coat. She's just as lovely now as she was right after the blow dry!
The honeysuckle scent is heavenly, but not overpowering. Let's be honest: the scent is more for humans than it is for dogs. Bella doesn't care that she smells good, but she DOES care that she's mat-free and not itching.
I also purchased the detangler, but no need to use it yet! If it's as good as the shampoo, this is a SCORE! I'm sure it will be.

“I have a 5 year old German Shepherd with a long stock coat. This dog has been groomed on a daily basis every day of his life. At the slightest resistance on the hair he is extremely grumpy. With the detangler before his bath, and again after he is far more pleasant to work with. Even in the sensitive areas of his groin and ‚Äúpants‚Äù I‚Äôm finally able to really groom
him without dealing with a grump. I use it for daily grooming, mostly in the sensitive areas. I purchased the honeysuckle scent because it was the only one to come in the larger size. It certainly isn‚Äôt masculine- but it‚Äôs not overpowering or unpleasant. It‚Äôs so nice to spend time in our daily grooming sessions without negativity effecting the relationship with my dog.”
