“My dog takes Apoquel every day for itchy skin. I have always bathed him regularly in medicated shampoo from the vet. When I saw this product and read the reviews, I thought it was worth a try. It can take up to four weeks of consistent use for the skin to restore. Here are a few recommendations:
For pets with chronic skin issues it is best to bathe them once every three days for the first two weeks, then once a week until the skin normalizes. You are fine switching to a monthly or bi-monthly routine once the skin has normalized. Apply the Itch Relief daily to help promote good bacteria growth in between baths.
