“Have been having 3 itchy chihuahuas. Changed their diet about a month ago trying to eliminate simple possibles. That did seem to have a positive outcome. Could be a change in weather and some rain on the yard too. Today was first day to use shampoo. So far so good. Previously, sometimes they would go back to itching, scratching or gnawing the same day, definitely the next day. No scratching yet. They came out squeaky clean after washed and very soft after they were dried. Feel no residue. Am hopeful this will help.”
“This does seem to help my dogs itchiness, but I got the dog of the woods scented shampoo and the smell was way too strong for me, and my dog wasn‚Äôt impressed either. If either you or your pet has any sensitivity to fragrances, stick to the unscented. Seems kind of obvious in retrospect I guess. Still recommend though..I‚Äôm ordering a replacement unscented right now.”

“Incredible results. I own an 80lb Pittie mix with severe environmental allergies. He takes 16mg of apoquel a day AND gets a cytopoint injection once every 6 weeks. Despite these prescription meds, he was still having painful issues with his skin. The vet meds help, but weren't controlling the allergic reactions. He still had flaky dry skin, irritated raw spots under his legs, bright pink skin on his belly and between his toes. He was compulsively licking his feet and was still uncomfortable. The next step for me would have been to seen a veterinary dermatologist which would of cost thousands of dollars in addition to the over 200 I was spending each month on the medication from my regular vet. He loves running outside and playing on our land, it may have been necessary to make him a house dog and limit outside time to bathroom breaks only. For such a large energetic dog, this would of been horrible for him.
From the first bath with the probiotic shampoo, I could tell a big difference. We are four baths into it now and his skin issues have almost completely cleared up. He hates when I spray the itch relief on, so I moisten a washcloth with it and apply to the most irritated spots when he's half asleep.
