My pup urinated in three spots so I used the Severe formula and it did not seem very effective. My pup keeps going back to these same three areas sniffing, etc. I will try to re clean with a hand held pet stain vacuum.”

I'm sorry to hear that! This isn't something we typically hear about the Severe Mess Stain & Odor Remover. May I ask what kind of surface this was applied to? We recommend letting the formula sit for about 5 minutes then using a highly absorbent cloth to soak up remaining excess fluid.
