“The itch shampoo does seem to relieve my dog of heavy itching. Leaves his coat soft. My only dislike was the sent. It smells like Elmer‚Äôs Glue. I have tried many products they all have great smells. This one not so much. Still a great product.”
Hi Nathan,
Thank you for your feedback! Since there are no added fragrances in this product, what you're describing is just a result of the natural ingredients. A fragrance-free option allows this product to be hypoallergenic for those extra-sensitive pets. If you're looking for a product with fragrance, we recommend giving our Probiotic Shampoo + Conditioner a try. It contains the same beneficial topical probiotic blend as our Probiotic Itch Relief Shampoo but comes in a variety of fragrances.
Kind Regards,
Susie

“My son's dog has allergies and scratches her skin raw, she is allergic to the grass so it's difficult to keep her from getting itchy skin.
We didn't want to have to give her meds to stop the allergies effects, but we use this shampoo and it calms her scratching, her skin isn't inflamed like it usually is. So she can play with the other dogs on the grass and not suffer. I use all of your products they are worth every penny. I love that when I get stuff to help her it also helps other dogs! It's a WIN WIN !”
“I used this on my Jack Russell rescue, and she continued to itch. I have used it a second time as I was told it may take a few uses for it to take affect. We shall see.”
Hi Catherine,
Thank you for your feedback! Yes, it can take 2-4 weeks of consistent use for the skin and coat to restore. For pets with chronic issues, it's best to bathe them once every three days for the first two weeks, then once a week until the skin normalizes. Once the skin has normalized, you can return to a bi-monthly or monthly bathing routine. Please keep us posted!
Kind Regards,
Susie
