“I had been putting off using this knife as I was a bit worried I might cut myself. However, today I needed to cut some pumpkin, something I generally struggle with a bit, so I thought, now or never and I got the Modula knife out. I was so surprised as to how easily, compared to my other knives, it cut through the skin of the pumpkin. It was almost like slicing through butter. I was very pleasantly surprised. I still may in the future end up cutting myself but hubby assures me that a cut from a sharp klnife is way better than a blunt one. Very assuring, not. .”
“Great knife, however I had to use a hammer to insert the key far enough to allow the key to release the handle. I suspect that this will loosen up with use.
The knife is beautiful to handle and scarily sharp. it sings to me.
The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was due to the difficulty removing the handle.
