One still wants a drop or two of oil over the interior surface after wiping clean and fully drying the pan (we like avocado oil). But there is no need for advance rounds of oven and/or stove-top pre-seasoning at home since the non-cooking surfaces have already been Quenched in the factory, whilst the interior cooking surface has been polished to a very high standard. This allows for a low fuss approach. Great for busy households!
