Love our Solidteknics pans This size is great for smaller dishes and eggs of a morning Once you learn the basics how to keep them seasoned they never disappoint And best of all if you muck it up you havent ruined the pan pretty much indestructible

Ive only used this pan a few times since purchase and Ive gotta say I think Im on a winner As most other reviewers state theres a bit to know before diving in but its not rocket science The idea of relearning that lubrication Is your friend is a tough one as the media will have you believe that all fat is bad Do your research and work out which fats work for you and go for it The taste is better anyway I will say I was nervous more about the clean up than actually using the pan but I used a coconut husk scrubber from Aldi and it worked a treat after Id done smash burgers with cheese I was also nervous about the weight of it as my missus doesnt like to wield a heavy pan thank god As far as cast iron goes it feels amazing I love this pan so far well done Solidteknics for creating a beautiful Aussie product

Bit of a learning curve if this is your first iron pan but definitely worth it Follow a few simple rules and youve got a great pan for life The 26cm AUSION is a great allrounder bit enough for most things and small enough for most things It is our most used pan when cooking for 14 people

This was my first purchase from Solidteknics and my first iron pan 24 hours later we had thrown out all our foreverchemicalteflontoxics and I was on a new path Since then the whole family has embraced our new Solidteknics pans Whether just a quick egg for breakfast some nicely grilled haloumi for lunch or a full stirfry for dinner An added bonus is that I have no anxiety when they are used by other members of the family I know they cannot hurt them With our old quotnonstickquot Teflon I used to stress if someone turned the heat too high not good or used metal utensils or scrubbed them with the wrong scourer when cleaning I would panic if I saw flaking of the coating and replace them asap With Solidteknics I am so much more relaxed Sollidteknics are unbreakable and they really are generational heirlooms

My second larger AUSION pan so that larger ribeye steaks fit in without needing to cut into pieces The even spread of heat ensures meat is also evenly cooked It is way easier to handle since it is lighter than cast iron pans Best kitchen investment ever

I have been cooking with cast iron for more than 15 years Some of my pans took more than 6 months to get so they have a nonstick seasoning develop I received the Solidtekincs 26cm frypan in early December Today I cooked an omelet that turned out perfect and when it came to serve it the food just slipped out of the pan All it took to clean it was to rinse it with warm water then wipe it dry with a paper towel I was contemplating getting a Smithey skillet but after getting this pan from Solidteknics this is the only pan I need
