“We’re absolutely in love with our Rondeau & Skillet. We made pancakes on the skillet in the morning and then used it as a lid for our dinner that night — even our toddler gave it the tick of approval!
The only small challenge has been removing the lid after simmering on the stove or coming out of the oven. The handles get understandably hot, and using oven mitts can make it a bit awkward to lift. If there's a trick to this, I’d love to know!
That aside, this has honestly been the highlight of our week. We’ve been sharing it with family and friends and telling everyone they need one in their kitchen. I love the forever warranty and knowing it’s something I can one day pass down to my son as a true heirloom. A beautiful, functional piece we’ll treasure for years.”
“This is my third Solidteknic pan but my first Noni.
As I've onIy had it a few days, I haven't used the base as yet but have used the skillet lid to cook rissoles. I heated it slowly then bumped it up until it passed the water bubble test.. the meat was at room temperature but still stuck. It also did not cook each one around the skillet evenly. I am hoping this will improve but judging by this I am a little disappointed....
I have attached a photo of how it looked after it was cleaned in hot soapy water & then bicarb soda to try to remove the discolouring, also disappointing as I thought it would not mark as do the 2 AUS-ION pans, which was expected.”
