“Well, I’ve just finished my first cook up with my new Lightning 21cm frypan.
Fisherman’s Eggs- Yum!
The Noni pan I reach for most often, to date, is my July 2020 17cm frypan. This pan has now cooked well over a thousand meals for me. But I challenge you to see any wear or tear whatsoever; there is none. Flip the pans over though and it’s easy to see which one has done all the heavy work.
Anyway, I found I was often wishing for a slightly larger pan- hence the new one. The new 21cm Lightening heats quickly, it’s just as naturally non-stick and it’s easy peasy to clean. A new and welcome addition to our Solid Cookware collection.”
“I like the size to fry up eggs and sausages. It heats up quickly and the best part is that the handle doesn’t get hot at all.
The cleaning is easy. The pan is very light yet it is very sturdy.”
“It’s perfect! Extremely easy to use- lightweight - heats quickly and cooks very evenly - very easy to clean … I’ve given my replaced very good stainless steel saucepan to my grandson and adore my new nöni frypan”
“The nöni™ Lightning 21cm Frypan is a very special Frypan for me. Once it arrived I literally threw out the lasy non-stick Frypan I had (a 20cm pan).
I've used the nöni™ Lightning 21cm Frypan a few times since it arrived, mainly for cooking small meals just for me, and taco mix. I love it. Being thin at 2mm the pan heats quickly on a super low temp- I've never cooked on it higher than "2" on my stove top which has a range from 1-9, and the food turns out perfectly, and in almost the same time as cooking on a higher temp in other pans.
Washing up the pan is quick and easy too.
If you are looking for a small pan for Mexican, or a smalll steak or egg dish for one, and don't want to usea bigger pan, I can highly recommend the nöni™ Lightning 21cm Frypan.”
“This is my third Solidteknics pan. The first two are the high performing iron pans which have performed well above expectations. The only downside with iron is that they are not suited to cooking acidic foods such as tomato based dishes.
Enter my Noni.
My go-to pan is the 21cm lightning as it is well suited to cooking for a couple. It’s brilliant so when I saw that a Lightning Noni was being introduced I didn’t hesitate. It was ordered on the spot.
It eventually arrived and I must say, the stainless steel is beautiful. It has a somewhat buff finish and looks very purposeful. No seasoning needed. Just take it out of the pack, wash it and get cooking.
My first meal was the ever fearful scrambled eggs. I say fearful because If anything is going to stick, scrambled eggs is it and they can be near impossible to clean off. I was amazed! Zero adhesion, no stick at all. Nothing. This pan is more non stick than a non stick pan; and I mean that. Washing it was simply a matter of running it under hot water and giving it a scrub with a brush. Washing took about 10 seconds.
For all of these and the iron pans there is a method:
Heat the pan under gentle heat for a couple of minutes, bring the pan to HOT (so that water dropping off your fingers beads and runs all over the place, add quality oil (don’t ruin things here and go cheap), make sure that the surface is well covered with oil then immediately add room temperature food. You can then adjust the heat up or down as required. Do this and you’ll have success every time. These instructions are found on the website.
Unlike most things you buy, it’s well worth your time to look up the website and thoroughly familiarise yourself with the instructions. Any cooking failure will be operator error; not a failure of the pans.
I can’t recommend the Noni range enough. I truly think that they are the best cooking pans and saucepans on the planet and are well worth the price. (The frying pans are underpriced in my opinion).
Just go get a couple.”
“I'm absolutely loving this pan! It's the perfect size when cooking for 1 or 2 people, the non-stick works well with everything from eggs to mince, and it's easy to clean. Highly recommend.”
