“Top bag especially given the price. It looks great and the material feels good quality. The roll down feature which opens out to expand the capacity is perfect for me.”
“Negatives:
The drinks holders are to small and designed flat to the bag, therefore if the bag is full you can’t get the drinks bottles in the side pockets.
The bag maybe waterproof (yet to test) the rear pocket has no cover so open to the elements, possibly prone to filling up with water.
Overall basic design
Positive:
Stylish.
Comfortable
Hopefully waterproof
Easy access opening with the roll top”

“Took a punt with this backpack and glad I did. I cycle to work 3 days a week, 12 miles each way. The first day I used it, the heavens opened. My laptop, clothes and paperwork remained bone dry throughout the commute. It also felt very comfortable and I had no back pain, which I couldn't say for my previous backpack. I like the open top access and the ample pockets for storage.
The backpack feels quite premium, so really surprised at the price. I think I got a bargain and will be getting another for my son, as it is quite stylish too.
My only criticism, and it is a minor one, I guess is, the storage pocket at the front, which has a velcro fastening. Would have been better zipped. I would definitely recommend getting it, and certainly at what I consider a really good price. Thumbs up from me!”
“I'm writing this review after one big trip away where the bag was fully loaded.
Positives:
- It feels solid and well constructed.
- The materials feel premium.
- It looks great in person, like proper grown-up bag.
- It feels comfortable on my back, even when fully loaded. Not as ergonomic or balanced as a hiking rucksack, but that's not the use case for this bag. For most urban trips or commuting, it's plenty comfortable.
Downsides:
- The water bottle pockets on the sides are just a smidge too narrow. They actually *will* fit a standard metal water bottle, but only if the bag itself isn't fully loaded. If your bag is crammed with stuff, it'll push against the inside of the material and you won't be able to fit your water bottle in the pocket. My suggestion when you're packing - put your water bottle in the pocket *first* then pack the rest of the bag.
Unknown:
- I haven't tested the water-resistance yet, but I'm taking it to Prague in a few weeks so I'm sure it'll get tested there.
Overall:
- I'm very happy with this bag. Time will tell if the materials hold up, but so far so good.”
