Maqui berries are a wild-grown superberry native to Chile and are also known as the Chilean wineberry. Legend has it that the Mapuche people have been consuming maqui berries for centuries. Maqui berry is very similar to Acai berry in a lot of ways. Both are high in anti-oxidants and have many reported benefits, but their main distinct differences are flavor and smell. I mix 1:1 of Maqui with Acai, and they blend very well for good flavor. Maqui by itself is quite good though. This powder, when mixed with moisture, will stain like normal berries, so be careful!

I use Maqui Berry Powder mixing it with a cup of milk, cup of blueberries, 1 Tbsp of raw cacao powder+ a few cubes of ice. Pleasant taste, nice purple color of the drink! Thanks a lot for the product!

I love the beautiful color and knowing I'm doing my body a huge favor by drinking this in my morning smoothie. I just add to my unsweetened almond milk with a few frozen fruits and a banana and yum yum, what a way to start the day...

These little guys provide just the right amount of sweetness (i.e. not too much) and crunchiness to make the perfect snack! Be forewarned that they will turn your tongue temporarily purple :) but they're worth it!
