The Sunfood Differenceâ„¢
Maqui berries are a wild-grown superberry native to Chile and are also known as the Chilean wineberry. Legend has it that the Mapuche people have been consuming maqui berries for centuries. The berries have a rich purple color and taste similar to blackberries. They make anything you blend them with a stunning hue of purple! Now you can enjoy maqui berries in an easy-to-use powder. I add this to my Berry Blast smoothies and it's great. Next, I will try it in some yogurt with granola.

I have special nutritional needs and I use several superfoods to help support my conditions. This is one of the high anti-oxidant foods I use and I love mixing it into vanilla or honey flavored yogurt with maca and cacao powder to make a really wonderful superfood treat or into cold deserts. I really enjoy what it adds in richness and along with other superfoods it keeps me feeling good and healthy!

I love to mix maqui powder with my orange juice in the morning, and it gives me extra energy for the day. It tastes great too - It's subtly sweet with a nice depth to it.

This maqui berry powder is one of my favorite additions to my morning smoothies. A spoonful of lucuma powder and a teaspoon of maqui powder in the blender with a banana and 12 oz of homemade cashew milk makes a delicious, nutritious smoothie for two that is as great tasting and great for you as it is pretty to look at, with its cheerful, bright purple color. This powder is more deep berry than tart, and is a great way to start the day. I highly recommend it!
