“I needed a narrow roof window to replace an old Velux GVT skylight - this was the only make avaiable at 47cm width. I used it with the plain tile flashing and a breathable membrane. I also painted it dark grey to match our aluminium windows - fairly labourious but it looks good.”
“Can't complain about the value of the Sunlux window. Bought two plus flashing kits for the price of a velux. Instructions are not great - there's a video on YouTube which helps somewhat. Neither window had the quite the right number of screws in it. They don't sell the felt collar for the sunlux windows so make sure you also buy some roofing felt to compete the installation to spec. The quality is not quite as high as with Velux, especially viewed from outside, but they look fine from the inside and offer fantastic value for money.”
