“The hatch, now completed, looks good and is easy to use. When assembled correctly it feels sturdy when standing on the steps.
It is essential that the wooden frame remains rectangular when installed, otherwise the door will not close to fit in it. For this reason I would have preferred the frame to be more rigid. It was easily bent. The use of spacers behind the inserted screws is advised, to prevent that, but they are not provided. Good luck trying to keep everything straight and square.”
