“Unfortunately, the lack of operational oversight starting at the train station created problems for many paid passengers. We ended up supposed to have reserved seat on the train portions, that was impossible due to the volume of people on each train segment. Yet, I paid for it. Can be avoided by organized checking if tickets and which sections passengers can/can not access along with volume maximums. The instructions were also problematic for the Grindelwald terminal versus Grindelwald station. Creating several of us missing the corrrct exit and going past one. Which then created us being late to our apparent time for the Gondola segment. Your rep there was rude and disrespectful to many of us, who simply wanted to board the next segment. Instead we were sent over like caddie in a line stating, “You don’t have a valid reservation.” I find that amusing, as I have $500 plus dollars spent on a “all day pass” according to the online instructions. Again, your instructions seem to not match the information received at the gates.
We enjoyed the top of the mountain, after hours of frustration to get there. East to get down without the same nonsense
Fix the process and make it clear on times and maximum volumes permitted per train segment to make this an excellent experience.
