“I love the design and feel of these, but I should have heeded the instructions on the package to use a shoe horn: I placed them in my boots, and when I put my feet in, the insert immediately moved out of place, got stuck to my sock, and the adhesive was ruined. So I don't know whether they would have worked or not to keep my heels from slipping. And even if you use a shoe horn, the adhesive is clearly not very strong on these so I'm not confident they would have lasted long anyway.”
