Vest extenders are simple yet very clever, they increase the length of a normal size baby vest. An invaluable accessory for those using cloth nappies. Cloth nappies are usually bulkier than disposables, especially boosted night time nappies. This can make standard baby vests tight or too short to easily popper up underneath the crotch. Vest extenders allow extra room for a cloth nappy or just to accommodate a tall/long baby. You can of course put baby in a baby vest that is the next size up, but the issue with this is that the vest is then often very loose around the neck. Vest extenders popper to the bottom of the baby vest and add approx 4 inches (10cm) to the overall length. The vest extenders come in packs of 3 in white cotton (or choose a single vest extender to try them out), with same size poppers, as used by most chain stores. The 3 poppers are 9mm in diameter and positioned 15-20mm apart (there is some sideward stretch to this product.) Will fit most brands of baby clothes (except Frugi, Green Baby, some Baby Gap, Wilkinsons, and Mini Mode).

“Easy to use and fits most supermarket vests. Don't tumble dry as they curl and shrink slightly but they should still stretch enough to use. Dry flat if possible.”

“Having vest extenders is definitely useful, particularly if you have a tall, skinny baby with a bulky cloth nappy. However, I don't understand why the poppers on these aren't on the binding at the edge, like on the vests. It means you get a big lump sticking out through whatever clothes they've got on top.They're also really quite expensive for what they are. I could buy a pack of vests for the same price.”

“Brilliant little things, just what we needed to keep vests fitting over the bulkier cloth nappies. Our little boy is tall and slim so the right sized vests for his age fit his body but are a really tight stretch over his nappy whereas the next size up are long enough but really baggy - these little things are the perfect solution. They fit all the vests we’ve tried so far - great.”

“These are really useful and fit all the vests we have at the moment (M&S, George, next). Bought them due to extra bulkiness from cloth nappies but they’re also useful to make vests last a bit longer too if baby has outgrown them in length but still fits width ways!”
