“I ordered a replacement membrane as I’ve been using full strength vinegar when cleaning toilet. Seemed to leak a bit more than when new. Replacement looked same as old one, so looks like it held up well. Didn’t do leak test to check.”

It's true, full strength vinegar can cause issues with draining. Cleaning with clear water only is perfectly fine, but if necessary, you can also use diluted citric acid or vinegar. Please make sure that it's only in mild form and rinse thoroughly afterwards and you should have a fine working membrane for a long time.
