“I had previously bought Sunset model sneakers, which are lighter and not necessarily designed for tougher use. The Canyon model is much sturdier and should be suitable for tougher terrain. They have a stronger heel which makes them slightly harder to get your foot in. I also found them rather tight to begin with (I actually had to get size 43 changed to size 45 - the size seems different from Sunset model) and I need to wear them in before use 'in the field'. I am hoping they will pay dividends when I begin to use them on country walks.”

“They are more hyped with excessive marketing than what the product actually is. They take more than one day to dry. I'll need to find an alternative shoe for wet conditions. The quality doesn't look so good and the foot is too narrow on the front (for people who need a bit more of space on the toes.”
