“I had to bounce between a couple of sizes as my usual size was way too spacious, and after finding a decent fit, I realized where they went wrong with the shoe. The insole is ridiculously thin, while a fairly gentle and eco-friendly material. This in combination with possibly the hardest midsole I’ve ever felt in a shoe, leads to a pretty uncomfortable walking experience. I ended up spending an extra £30 on some quality insoles. I’m still breaking the shoes in of course but compared to my leather walking boots and casual sneakers these were not super snug out-the-box. Obviously this is the risk when buying from a newer company online - incredibly good marketing but the actual quality of the product leaves much to be desired. I can’t really speak to the weatherproof aspect of the shoes as London has been quite dry and mild recently but I did walk through the rain with them and did not get wet socks so hopefully they prove to be decently waterproof (though I did feel a slight dampness after the walk, and just read other reviews saying something similar). The final thing about the shoes I’d like to mention are the sprint laces - I really like the idea but because of the size discrepancies (again, possibly due to a thin, poorly made insole) I find that to secure my foot in the shoe I needed to tighten the laces a decent amount. As a result I effectively just use the elastic laces as regular laces rather than just relying on the rubber stoppers. I wish the laces were slightly shorter so that every wearer ends up with just dangling tips of the laces (like the ads show). Overall, with a fairly sloppy roll-out process of the shoes, slow-ish response time from the support team and many discrepancies between the marketed product and wearer experience, I probably will not buy from them again until they’ve tested their products more. However, I like the eco-minded concept and it must be said these shoes are very handsome though!”

“The shoes are great but I feel like the height of the "socket" looking part is a bit too high making the feet move too much in the shoe. Using the sprint lace to tight it up makes really long laces going down on the sides and a bit less comfort as the socket is deformed. Addind some sole in the shoe makes it a bit better.”
