“This is my first pair of shoes from Tropicfeel. The Monsoon in chive green looks so cool! It is stylish and makes a subtle statement with the coral details. Super light and comfortable, you don’t need to break these in. Just slip on and go. The security band in the back keeps them from slipping off which I am most grateful for. The heel elevation offers cushioning and added comfort without looking like a running shoe. Why not all 5 stars? Two elements for improvement in my opinion. The first is that the shoe could use more arch support, especially because it is an active shoe intended for long walks. The second thing is that once you pull the sprint laces there seems to be no secure place to store the overhanging laces. I tried a few options but they kept sliding out. There is no risk of tripping over them, but they stick out a bit like ears. In any case I still love them and I am Iooking forward to the brand’s development.”

“I love how light weight these shows are and they are very comfortable, but the elastic band at the back started sagging not fitting well) after wearing them a few times. they also tend to collapse or gape fairly bad around the ankle section of the shoe. Because of these two issues I'm not wearing them much anymore and will likely give them away soon when I buy my next pair of Calas)”

“Monsoon shoes have been good light and very versatile. Though a little smaller than I expected. However with lot of use they have loosened up and are comfortable now.”

“Slightly tight if I wear socks but is fine without socks, I feel the white heel base is too large so it would be better design if you shrink it slightly as it the white base is nearly the size of the actual shoe.”
