“The shoe meets my expectations of a shoe, but they are not a great shoe. The front has too much fabric and curls up when tightened properly. The back part that goes up your Achilles heel is very hard and hurts after walking for too long if you do not wear long socks. Other than that, they deliver what a shoe is expected to, and they seem to keep dry in the rain. But I would not call it a hiking shoe in any way shape or form. The shoelaces are too long to be used with the included way of tightening them without looking weird.”

“On opening the box I must admit that I was a little disappointed. I accept that the shoes are very lightweight and will be great as a travel item but I don't find them as comfortable as I was expecting. Maybe over time I will grow to like them more. I have not answered any more of the questions as none of them quite say what I would say.”

“Me parece una buena zapatilla. El problema es que a pesar de ser el número correcto en largo y ancho, me aprieta demasiado la parte superior del pie resultando muy incómoda. No me parece aceptable que me cobren gastos de envío por la devolución, cuando el producto no es utilizable por parte del cliente. Es una mala política de marca que hace que no la recomiende”

“I am very excited about my second pair of Monsoons. Although they are not the most robust (after one year of heavy use, the mesh was torn) - they must be the best all-around non-technical shoes I have ever worn, scoring perfectly in both looks and comfort and versatility. In contrast, I have been extremely disappointed about the service and delivery. I have made three orders and each of them had problems - two out of three times the shoes took up to 3 months to be delivered. Also, the customer service framework, in which you are asked to give feedback to the conversation (only!) with a support person - even though your issue may not (yet) have been solved is unprofessional in my opinion. I'm not sure I will make another purchase, for the unreliability of the service. Also, I have bought the Canyon, and although they are more robust, the design is poor, the look was cheap in my opinion, the feel while wearing them was very similar to a boot, not really adjusting to the shape of the foot. On rough terrain the foot is unstable and slips inside the shoe. I would definitely not recommend the Canyon shoe. I really hope this feedback will be useful for future improvement!”
