“I’m going on a backpacking trip soon to Arizona where I need a versatile shoe for hiking through rock, sand, and water. I’m typically a size 7 US so was I between shoe sizes. I originally ordered the 7.5 and the shoe was WAY too big. I reached out to customer service and they were very helpful and communicative! I replaced for a 6.5 and when I received those, they were WAY too small. The time frame to return had already passed, so I have too small shoes which I can’t wear. Short story: Shoe quality was great. Customer service was great. But we wary of your shoe size!”

“As the rest of the reviews stated it is true to size, comfortable and stylish. I´ve only used it for a month so far, biking, walking and exercising, it held through. Will wait to see if it holds up through more wear and tear! I am hoping it does, as it will make it easier for me to decide on purchasing another pair opposed to looking for another brand.”

“My first pair of Canyons was from the Kickstarter days a few years back and it served me well until holes appeared in the mesh in both pairs, which doesn't seem out of the ordinary considering the constant use. I especially loved the Sunset (then called Cala) and I'm still wearing them. And then I tried the Geyser but that was disappointing due to its lack of good fit and comfort, so I returned them and decided to go back to the Canyon model. Interestingly enough, despite buying the same size, there are some differences, it's slightly narrower and sleeker with more toe room than my previous pair, with the new tropicfeel logo on its sole. It also felt stiffer, but that could be its brand new state as opposed to my well-worn old pair. The finish of the toe guard to the mesh isn't as good; one can see some glue residue in the gaps, and I wonder if they changed their manufacturer. It's still comfortable for daily use, and much more comfortable than Geyser despite its thinner insole. Delivery was quick and efficient. One minus point would be the amount of packaging, esp. when they aim for sustainability: why put a shoe box within another box?? I preferred their utilitarian packaging during the Kickstarter days.”
