“This is going to be long one so let's just get the short points out of the way so that I can delve a bit deeper into the my gripes. -Good shoe. Simple design. -Somewhat padded heel. Not the best feeling I've seen for the money they ask. -Uncomfortable without socks. They used a tongue design on this which creates an overlap and adds pressure to the foot. -Very very shitty aglets. Like Jesus. Why would make the thing that you pull so flimsy that it comes off when you pull? I now have frayed laces which I have tied into a knot. That's it. That's the main points of this shoe. Now, let me actually talk about my experience with the company itself. I initially bought Jungle. It was on sale so I thought I'd try it out because I've liked the idea of a all terrain shoe. Fast forward to me getting it, I thought it was slightly uncomfortable due to the sole design but I understood that it was the design choice for it to be water friendly. So I bore with it for a whole day only to realise when I got home that the upper was coming off the sole. I assume it was a mishap. Fair enough. Bad shoe. Contact the customer service. They tell me apply for a refund, I do and they're like, we'll send you a voucher so you can rebuy the shoe again, free of charge. I am like alright, threw away the old shoe like they told me to and then I waited for my code. For a 20 days from applying for the refund, they literally send me nothing but ads. Zero communication as to what is happening. Why it's happening. What are they doing about it. Nothing. I am patient so I don't immediately jump the wagon but after a week or two, you just kinda have to. So I ask them whats going on and they give me same old,"Oh our system has problems. Sorry." And then they send me a follow up asking me to review how good their communication was. You're kidding me, right? After 20 days, they finally process my request, I get a discount code, buy another pair of shoes which looks sturdier and hope it's good. The shoes? It's pretty good. Except in the first few minutes of trying, I've already lost all aglets and one of coil things that help the elastic stay in place. At that point I just gave up. The shoe itself is fine. I quite like the design and the water friendly nature. I have yet to take it to the waters so I am praying it doesn't just come off like the last pair. If it does, I just hope they just send me the money I am owed instead of a discount code for another broken shoe. For a company that is so into sustainability, they sure make things I have to throw away.”
