“The NS40 jacket (layer and vest) arrived very quickly and is just what I expected and hoped for from the description. It seems to be very high quality. People have commented on how nice it is. The combination of vest and shell is very versatile. This is my first vest and I am surprised about how often I like to wear it. It is just right when it gets a bit cool outside. I bought the largest size, XXL, even though none of my body measurements were greater than XL and some were L. I'm glad I did. It doesn't look too large and it gives me more room underneath for a sweater or other warm middle layers. I'm not sure about how water resistant the layer is when worn by itself, without the vest. The lower part of the layer is not waterproof, but may be water resistant to some extent. If its rainy and hot, I'm wondering if the jacket will be too warm if I need to also wear the vest to keep dry. I guess I will find out soon enough. The material lower part of the layer is comfortable but very thin and light. I wonder how durable it will turn out to be. Time will tell.”

“I love the look and material of this jacket, but as a bigger guy who wears a size XXL, the XXL NS40 Layer isn't even close to fitting me. I understand that different areas of the world have different styles and fits when it comes to clothing, but this jacket is not true to size whatsoever.”
