“Although this is a very good and a quality pair of pants, I wouldn't quite categorize them as hiking pants. Compared to the Chino pants, they wear a bit larger and same as the Chino, I wish they were bit longer (I'm 172 and they are just above my ankles). Same as with the Chinos, I don't quite understand the idea of the elastic around the waist as I didn't manage to make it smaller or bigger, but maybe that's just me. I love that they so many pockets and with a zip! It's really convenient when travelling! They are not lightweight pants but heavier material - which does feel quite sturdy in a good way. I would not do hikes in warm weather with them.”

“Absolutely love these! They’re comfortable both standing up and sitting down because of the elastic waistband. They repel water really easily (I haven’t tested it with other liquids yet) and there’s a lot of very useful pockets! The only thing is if you have bigger thighs the zipper (at the end of the shorts-part) will kind of dig in your leg when you sit down, but that’ll happen with any zip-off pants”
