“Ok, so I remember using this range in my teens and having beautiful bouncy natural curls, then came the era for super ironed flat hair. I abandoned my natural hair and committed to years of straightening. Over the past 18 months or so I’ve tried and failed to achieve what I remember as lovely natural curly hair. I’ve spent a LOT of money on various “wonder” treatments but never achieved what I remembered having back when I was young and beautiful. I kinda gave up and just thought that as I aged my hair had changed texture and I was left with incredibly frizzy part wavy, part frazzled limp but very thick hair. I genuinely considered getting a perm!!
Now this week I remembered this range, and bought the shampoo, conditioner, mask and scrunch jelly.
It arrived the next day and I immediately went about tackling my mop!
I followed the directions and combed my hair whilst in the shower, wrapped my hair in a towel and let the moisture absorb for 5-10 minutes. I then took off my towel and applied the jelly, scrunching as I went. I then dried my hot on low heat with a diffuser and dared looked in the mirror. I couldn’t believe that I was looking at my own hair. I finished off by scrunching the cast off my hair left by the jelly and I was left with beautiful bouncy natural curly locks. Not a bit of frizz to be seen!!!! I’m now on day 3 after my hair wash and scrunch and I am still rocking fabulous curly hair. 38 years old and I have to say, my hair is better now than in my teens- even with years of bleaching , straightening and the rest. Hair still smells of the lovely distinctive curl jelly smell- all be it a little less potent these days. Reminds me of lynx africa!!!
