“Ordered 4 desks. They had to be shipped to Sydney. The courier company lost the order and up down were absolutely terrific from start to finish. Updown chased down the courier company and kept me updated on progress. When that didnt work they sent me another set of desks just to make sure I didnt have to wait longer while they sorted out the problem with the courier company, how often do you get that kind of service? “So happy with my purchase! I did quite a bit of research on sit-stand desks before deciding to invest, and was pleasantly surprised by the price of UpDown Desks.
I fitted their frame with a bamboo tabletop from IKEA to have a desk size suitable for my workspace. All it took to attach to the frame was drilling a few extra holes in the bamboo for the bolts, and the result is lovely.
One thing to note is that the frame is much heavier than you'd expect (40 kg or so?), although I think that contributes to the great stability of the desk once assembled and in use - this thing is built solidly and I can see it serving me for years and years.
In fact, I've been using my desk since 2017; I work from home full time, and the up-down function gets a lot of use. The mechanics are perfectly smooth, and the memory buttons for sitting and standing positions are really handy - if you're after an electric desk I believe the memory feature is a must, as you'll be lowering and raising the thing more often than you might expect.
Overall, I'm an extremely satisfied customer and if I could give my desk more than five stars, I totally would.”
