“Vegavero Black Maca Root Complex Capsules 5000mg
The Vegavero maca root capsules come in a screw top plastic jar with a lid seal. The labelling gives a list of the ingredients and the suggested dosage. Each capsule contains extracts from the Maca root and L-Arginine, Panax Ginseng and Tribulus Terrestris.
Maca root is supposed to possess beneficial properties, and black maca root is purported to be more effective than the yellow variety. I did take it a few years ago but due to the uncertainty of it clashing with another medication, I stopped. As I no longer take that medication, I was happy to try it again, so when the Vegavero maca root capsules became available. I took the opportunity and have now been taking them for a while to re-assess the benefits.
For reference, I searched for the purported benefits of the other ingredients of the Vegavero maca root capsules. I’m not really able to comment on their effectiveness but they all seem to be positive.
L-Arginine - an amino acid that helps the body build protein.
Tribulus Terrestris - is said to have a variety of health benefits, such as reduced blood sugar and cholesterol, altered hormone levels and increased sexual function and libido.
Panax Ginseng - studies demonstrate that Panax ginseng may improve psychological function, immune function, and conditions associated with diabetes.
I can say that I do feel an improvement. My energy level seems to have improved a little and I find I can be more focussed on what I am doing. I can’t say for sure that the change is due totally to the Maca root capsules but there is enough difference that I intend to keep taking them.”
“I like to take black Maca supplement for energy and libido. This Maca comes in a sealed plastic bottle with 120 capsules. The capsules are quite large and the recommended dose is 3 capsules a day which is quite a lot to swallow. If you follow the recommended dose the pack would last you 40 days. The capsules contain Black Maca, L-Argenine, Ginseng and Tribulus but the ingredients and portion sizes are quite hard to read because it's listed in several languages in a confusing way. The capsules have a slight Molasses sort of smell. At any rate, I think that's a good mix of ingredients but I'm just not so keen on swallowing 3 large capsules a day.”

Full marks for the Maca with added ginseng, obviously aimed for the libido effect, energy increase, etc. but the label is bad.
The writing is too small, mixing together several languages makes it very difficult (I gave up) to read, comprehend and garner what it is trying to communicate.
Manufacture please take note that this is not the way to inform the customer, from whatever nation they are buying from you.

“Più che nera è una maca molto potenziata e concentrata che oltre la nota sostanza che aiuta il fisico e la prestazione fisica... è mescolata con L-Arginina, Ginseng, Tribulus e zinco. Un cocktail di molte sostanze, con aggiunta di vitamina C, per molti utile e benefico.
Indubbiamente sono sostanze che andrebbero ricercate in ricette o diete particolari, ma questo l’integratore dovrebbe integrarle per un benessere generale. Nel barattolone (7x7x12cm, un etto) ci son ben 120 capsule e per il dosaggio è sempre meglio consultare il proprio medico curante o nutrizionista; non siamo tutti uguali di corporatura e con lo stesso stile di vita!
Le capsule sono abbastanza grosse, più di 2cm! Ma si possono tagliare in due sfruttando comodamente la tacca nel mezzo.
L’estratto di maca presente è concentrato 10:1 e lo chiamano Maca Plus, la qualità è tedesca ed il marchio è rinomato nel mondo del benessere e integratori particolari. Penso che il rapporto qualità prezzo sia giusto, anche se alla dose consigliata da Vegavero (3 al dì!) significherebbe solo 40 giorni in modalità... PLUS!
