“The property was as listed, clean, neat, playground for the kids, we did really enjoy ourselves. The guest bathroom had no hot water, the knobs weren’t attached to wall, one fell and hit my sons head. The plastic chairs out back, please be careful my father sat in one and it snapped, leading him to hit his head. (Due to salt water air) does break down the plastic. We did enjoy our stay but next time we are going to rent from a Private owner, there were so many rules and regulations that we were honestly scared to touch anything. Even an extra fan in the closet (do not touch) so we went and bought one. We have family that own two houses in the neighborhood so we spent most of our time there. Yes, beautiful home, clean, just not truly welcoming. And for the price, I shouldn’t have to be so scared to even lay down.”

“We lost time on our vacation date to broken step on day one when we we’re bringing up our luggage. . We had an elderly family with mobility issues that was unable to leave from 6pm to 2 pm the next day. The rotting step wasn’t replaced till 5pm. We were told someone would come out by 10am. It had started raining so we understood why there was a delay but no one called to let us know when someone would arrive. My mother took the risk of going down earlier. There were temporary AC units that were not shown in the photos that were extremely loud. A broken living room chair that was missing screws and we couldn’t use so our seating was limited. A knob came off in the shower. We noticed termites. All this on day one so we we’re uncomfortable about staying the rest of the trip due to the instability of the home and especially the safety conditions. I was told that there was not another place available and that a manager would call me back about my request for some reimbursement.I had sent photos in emails. The manager called and left a message about if there were any other repairs needed but didn’t mention anything about reimbursing our fee. I never left a bad review before but I am upset about the safety issues and delayed response to get things fixed.”

“The house was smaller than the picture suggested. The person who took the pictures knows how to get a good camera angle. The middle bedroom was very warm. The extra fan in the living room was broken. You need to pack extra sheets or blankets if you want to sleep on the futon or couch. The knob in the shower for hot water kept falling off. Oh there was a giant hole in the wall in the guest bedroom. Like seriously who rents out a house with a hole in the wall. Giant hole. Says it sleep like 9 or 10, but does not accommodate 9 or 10 if you want to watch a movie together in the living room. The WiFi is not that great. The kids loved the playground in the backyard.”
