“This was hands down the nicest beach house we have ever stayed at! The grounds are beautiful and the owners have thought of everything to make this the perfect "entertaining" getaway. During our stay we went to the beach, the Strand, and a few other Galveston attractions. However, in my opinion, you don't have to leave this luxurious rental because it has everything. When you first arrive you will be pleasantly surprised with the ground floor. The pool and spa are AMAZING. You can sit in the pool and enjoy the fact that you are on the water. The GIANT chair is too cool and everyone in your party will enjoy the swings hanging from the rafters. The bottom floor is perfect for hanging out with friends. It has a garage style door that is reminiscent of an ice house. The second floor has a large amount of decking to sit out on at night, enjoy the breeze, and the beauty of the area. The inside is just as impressive as the outside. The second floor has a bedroom, kitchen/ living room area that is perfect for hosting friends and family. We had a girls weekend and had a blast staying up late around the large kitchen table playing games. Did I mention that the owners have thought of everything and have a large assortment of fun games! The upstairs has 6 bedrooms that have plenty of space to accommodate several families. The beds were so comfortable and the linens/ towels were of top notch quality. I have stayed at beach houses in the past that skimp on details like quality bedding/beds, decor. This place reminds me of the 4 and 5 star hotels that we stay in while we are traveling. After I returned from this relaxing, fun get away, I told my husband I wanted to go back and tell all of my friends and family about this wonderful place. I love that we can have a few other couples rent the house and there will be plenty of room for everyone to be comfortable. I also love that the house has something for all ages!!!! If you are looking for a luxurious, cool place that is perfect for entertaining, Livin'; the Dream is the place. This is one of those beach houses that you don't understand how AWESOME it is, until you see for yourself. We had such a great time and will definitely be back!!!”

“We were initially drawn to this property because of the pool and hot tub on the property. Well, that was awesome! Walking down the stairs from the home and jumping into the pool! But that is just the beginning of what makes this rental amazing. The owners have thought of everything when it comes to amenities, and I mean everything! I will list the ones that were most important to our large family group: 1) a restaurant sized ice machine (at another property, the refrigerator ice maker could not keep up with our needs) 2) three refrigerator spaces (we cooked all our meals, brought all kinds of drinks, 12 packs of sodas, juice boxes for the kids, beers and wine and once again at another property we had to put beverages and leftovers in coolers with ice. No need to do that at this property. 3) Because we did do our own cooking, it was amazing to have all the utensils, pans, and baking pans that we could have ever needed. 4) the wraparound bar in the kitchen with at least 8 comfortable bar stools 5) the fisherman's sink and amenities 6) a full bath at the pool 7) the space downstairs around the pool allowed everyone in our group to decide how to spend their time around the pool - in the pool, on the ledge by the pool, in the shade under the tiki hut, in the patio/outdoor kitchen area perhaps watching TV in the shade, grilling our meals, swinging on swings, taking out the kayak, etc. Our only disappointment was the fact that we did not get to spend an entire week at this property - someone else had rented the weekend before we found this location - because this property has EVERYTHING!!!”

“I have been vacationing in Galveston for the past 35 years including stays at multiple beach houses and major hotels/condos. To say this was the best property I've ever stayed in would be an understatement. The "cottage" is spacious and pristine. The wife and I brought our 4 kids and 2 friends. There were enough rooms for each of the pairs of kids to share their own in comfort. Each morning, we enjoyed breakfast on the outdoor deck while taking in the views of the bay as the sun rose. During the day, the kids enjoyed the heated hot tub after canoeing and paddle boarding the bay. Meanwhile, mom and dad enjoyed a lazy day in the hammock :) A quick drive to our favorite restaurant, Waterman's topped off a wonderful evening. After dinner, fish swarmed under the lighted pier like fire flies in the night. The boys angled for hours. We will definitely be back! Thanks Jeff and Marina for your amazing hospitality. We loved our stay and "Lived the Dream".”
