“The pictures online did not do this cabin justice. The view was expansive, peaceful and beautiful. Cabin was very clean, nice floor plan. Love the downstairs bedroom and bath as this added to the privacy for all of us when we wanted it. Fully equipped kitchen was great. Actually woke up one morning and saw a huge black bear walking down the road in front of the cabin -this made my week!! We will be back and hopefully can stay at Black Bear Lookout again! Thanks for a great stay!”

“This was our third time staying with Mountian Rentals. As always we were very happy with everything. The view is great! We put a humming bird feeder up and were able to sit outside while they drank right in front of us. Our main goal is relaxing and hiking the smokies. We also manage to shop and sample the food. Can't wait to return! Neal”

“We had a very awsome time really love it in tennessee. Did not want to leave your great cabin. Black bear lookout is a very awsome cabin might stay there next year your cabins are very clean and well stock.Will see you next year.”

“We just stayed in Black Bear Lookout for 4 nights and it was absolutely wonderful! The view from the top deck was amazing, the hot tub was perfect, and the cabin was super clean. We looked and looked for the right cabin, and Black Bear Lookout was just what we wanted. On top of that, the staff were very nice and helpful. It was really easy to make our reservations and this was an overall pleasant experience. I would recommend Rentals of Gatlinburg to anyone wanting an excellent get-away. We will definitely be back!”

“We have been staying in cabins in the Gatlinburg area for over 20 years and with Mountain Rentals for 4 years. We stay in a different cabin every time we visit. We have been very impressed with Mountain Rentals from the first time we stayed with them. The cabins are all priced right and very well maintained. Black Bear Lookout was no exception, the cabin was wonderful. The parking area is big, the cabin itself was roomy, a well stocked kitchen, bedrooms had comfy beds and the view is one of the best we have had yet! We saw 4 bears in the local park, can't remember the name...turn left at S.L. #8 and the park is up the road on your right, got some great pictures of them, very up close. Enjoy your stay!!”

“Excellant cabin and I would definitly stay again. Great view,the decor was excellant, the kitchen well stocked. Loved the new ease of checking in and out. The staff have always been very good. This is our fourth time renting with Mountain rentals and our third cabin. So far, all have been good, but this is my favorite.”

“Our stay at the black bear lookout cabin was absolutely incredible! The cabin was VERY clean and stocked with anything you could need for your stay.We were highly impressed it exceeded our expectations. I am terrified of bugs and spiders and that was a concern of mine. I checked in corners of the floors and ceilings and I didn't even see one cobweb or insect in the whole place :) I would highly recommend staying there in fact I have already to family and friends. The patio was difficult at times to enjoy due to the wood boring bees but it is nature and you can't control that.they aren't as bad in the evening though.”
