“I like the unit, I think the tank and pitcher could have been more durable, so hopefully they stan the test of time. My units tank arrived damaged but the company was good about getting the issue resolved. The water is definitely far superior to the fridge filtered water we were using were very happy with that.”
“When our water cooler broke we considered having an under sink unit installed. I felt like I would miss the instant hot and cold water features of my old cooler. I also wasn’t big on losing the storage under my sink and putting a hole in my countertops. When we came across this countertop product we decided to give it a try. I was worried about the taste but pleasantly surprised, tastes great and odour free. I was worried the water wouldn’t be cold enough but it’s definitely drinkable and almost as cold a my old cooler. I made ice cubes in a tray with the quick pour pitcher so that I can have ice cold water on a really hot day. The pitcher is a feature that I love! The hot water is nice and hot for making tea. It is a large appliance on my counter but the size is reasonable considering all it can do. And it is nice looking, the colours match existing appliances and the clear pitcher makes it look high end. To fill the water tank in the back of the unit, you will need to be able to lift it up and out so it can’t really be tucked under upper cabinets, it’s a bit heavy to move around. Mine fits beside my sinks where there is some space before the upper cabinets begin again. We are a family of 3, big tea and water drinkers and I refill the tank 2-3 times a day. I’m expecting to need to change the cartridge about every 6 months. Nice to not have to fill heavy jugs anymore, no water pitcher in the fridge and no kettle on the counter. Water dispenses a bit slower than what I’m use to but it is hands free so I can dry dishes while I wait. My son uses the pitcher and ice when filling his large hockey bottles. There are a few small drips/splashes of water when filling lower cups and mugs. Overall, I highly recommend and I am very happy I discovered this option.”
