Waterdrop C1S Countertop CoreRO System Reviews

5 Rating 3 Reviews
Very satisfied with the product. Water tastes very good, and it's easy to use. The initial installation of the filter was somewhat unclear in the instructions, as I didn't know what to expect, so I had to go online to get more clarification.

I am loving my countertop RO unit. It took some figuring out, but now it is working well. I love the taste of my water. It is very important to dump the reservoir container each time a refill is needed. That was something which was not well explained in the guide book and even the customer service representative told me incorrectly that the dumping only needed to happen on the initial filter rinse. I also like that it can condition water with up to 500 TDS, making the unit useable with my softened well water. I also found that my well water should be run in my sink until it is completely cold before filling the reservoir. Somehow the TDS are lower with water which is fresh in the pipes. I bought an inexpensive TDS monitor and that helped me to figure things out. It was a great purchase to go along with the new Waterdrop unit. The unit runs quietly and I love that the treated water container can be removed for quick pouring or storing in the fridge. It doesn't take much counter space and my husband didn't have to install the unit under a sink or drill a new hole for a faucet in my quartz countertop. That was a big plus for me as it allowed me to finally have RO water in my home at a very reasonable price. I had been wanting it for years, but my husband wasn't willing because of the cost of a bigger unit and the additional work of installing it. I also love that the unit tells me the TDS as it pumps water into my cup, so i am aware right away if something is not right. Recently, the red light was blinking and the numbers was at 150 TDS, so I realized right away that it needed something. I dumped my reservoir again and refilled it with fresh water. I also dumped the rest of the treated water container. I'm not entirely sure what happened, but those two things cleared it up completely. I think sometimes I need to make sure that the treated water container gets completely empty as well, so that the dissolved solids don't accumulate.
