“As I set up my new home brewery I wanted optimum water quality in my recipes. Victoria, BC water is quite good out of the taps, except for noticable chlorine and subtle algae flavours. I explored reverse osmosis (RO) but didn't think the extra cost was justified for my specific purposes. When filtering through RO a brewer needs to replenish the minerals and salts that are actually required to arrive at style flavour profiles. I have yet to brew with the 3-stage filter under my sink. My first batch will go with the H20 filtered sans addition of any minerals. The taste of the filtered water is clean and neutral which is a really great result. I will let you know how the new brews work out. I am extremely optimistic. A fantastic, aesthetically pleasing, and affordable system! Super easy to install.”
