“So far so good. I installed last month four each of the black elements into two Big Berkey water filters (total of eight) in our kitchen, removing the older ceramic ones, cleaning them, and storing them for spares.
These black filters are supposed to run for 6000 gallons, which in our place, shouldl be about forever. Hope that estimate holds true.
These from Waterdrop are about a third the cost of the ones sold by Berkey, so let us hope that they are as good! We shall see....”
