Tankless Reverse Osmosis System with small size, replacement filter once a year - Waterdrop D4 Reviews

4.8 Rating 8 Reviews
I had an old RO system that failed so I compared lots of systems. For me, I wanted something that took up less space and the waste ratio was better. All things considered, I went with the Waterdrop because the waste ratio is 1:1 and my old system was about 8:1. The Waterdrop takes considerably less space under the sink that the old one with the bladder tank. The downside is that the old system had a much better volume flow because it had a pressurized tank (Waterdrop uses a pump) and the tubing was 3/8" (Waterdrop uses 1/4"). There is also a 2-3 second lapse before the flow starts but that's really no big deal. However, I'll trade the slower flow to not waste ungodly amounts of water any day. I can't believe I was wasting 80 gallons of water to get just 10 gallons! The Water of the Waterdrop tastes great. It was way easy to install too.

My parents have well water and a water softener system, but that was not enough to remove the heavy minerals and sulfur smell from their water. After installing this tankless system under their kitchen sink, they now have access to all the clean and great-tasting water for drinking, making tea/coffee, and ice they will ever use right at their fingertips. Installation was relatively easy and the video instructions are very helpful. I especially like the single filter once-a-year replacement process.

I'm pleased with the water quality. I had a tank system before this and with that the waterflow was better and there wasn't the noise, but of course less room is taken with the tankless and filter change just once a year. The only thing I'm most disappointed in is waterflow. It takes a good while to fill a pot of water.

The short story is: a great product. The D4 is a well-engineered, designed, and packaged system. I had no trouble installing it. The all-in-one filter and tankless design is clever. My only beef is how low the flow rate is, a good reason to have a tank (if you've the room for it). If you don't mind waiting 40sec to fill a large glass of water, this is a terrific solution. Overall, I'm really happy with this purchase.

Works fantastic. Like what a beautiful device where the old setups were just so cumbersome in comparison.

So far so good, easy to install. We have only had it about a month. Water tastes great. We have well water with a water softener, we wanted to filter out the excess salt and any other possible contaminants. Our water wasn't bad to begin with, but wanted the extra layer of protection this reverse osmosis system gives. Also make sure you have a sediment filter if you have well water otherwise you would have to change the D4 filter more frequently I was told.

ALL MY LIFE BEEN USING 5 GALLONS BOTTLE, I GOT OLD AND TIRED OF IT. SO I DECIDE ON AN EASY WAY TO HAVE PURIFIED DRINKING WATER OUT OF MY HOME WATERLINE, SO I COMBINE A WATER DISPENSER AND THIS SMALL AND AWESOME MACHINE "Waterdrop D4" NOW I HAVE 2 MACHINES IN ONE DELIVERING HOT AND COLD PURIFIED WATER 24 HOURS WITHOUT A TRIP TO THE STORE. I WOULD LIKE WATERDROP CAN BUILD A WATER COOLER DISPENSER WITH A REVERSE OSMOSIS SYSTEM INTEGRATED.
