“The waterdrop system installed easily. We had purchased a different counter spout in oiled bronze finish from Amazon to match our other fixtures and it just had a 1/4" compression fitting, unlike the one that came with the waterdrop system, so I needed to go to Lowes and pick up a Sharkbite 1/4-in OD Push-to-Connect x 1/4-in Compression Female Adapter to make it work. This is an all white plastic (Nylon?) adapter (Item #874900 Model #25458Z) and has "Ice Maker Adapter" marked on the package. Using the adapter the installation was easy and our system works well with water that tastes fine.”
