“The quality (and value!) of the venison shoulder joints was incredible. I was actually quite shocked at the size - we basically had half a deer in the fridge!
I put them on the BBQ initially (one at a time!) then slow roasted for 12 hours with a chimichurri marinade to create 'pulled' venison. The meat came away from the bone beautifully, and the dogs really enjoyed gnawing on the scapulas :)
I was hosting and catering for 30+ people and we barely made a dent in the first shoulder - everyone was raving about the meat and I must have given your website to every guest as they were leaving with their venison filled tupperware!
