“I have used ALL 3 major brand memory foam mattresses, and in short: 1. Tempur - very luxurious, great sleep, VERY EXPENSIVE 2. Ecosa - too firm (has 3 different firmness but all 3 very firm), sleep well but not as deep, cheapest to purchase 3. Winkl Lux - by far the best sleep, best cost/benefit ratio I have had this mattress for about 3 months now. The other 2 mattresses ended up in our bach so we decided to try Lux from Winkl. I have had used the other 2 mattresses over a year and I can assure anyone considering, that Winkl has hit the nail on the head! First of all, I understand different people have different preferences on the firmness of the mattress they sleep on. Personally I I found both Ecosa and Tempur on the firm side. Lux sits just perfectly on the firmness to my preference. So much so, that it has helped with my chronic back issues. Cost wise, I paid the full price which was initially advertised online, then once the transaction was completed, the entire range went on sale (I think 15% off?) about 2 days later. I phoned them up and asked if I could reverse the transaction and they were more than happy to refund the difference. So THANK YOU very much for your kindness. However, in all seriousness, even at full price, it was less than half the price of tempur, and only marginally more expensive than Ecosa. So weighing up the cost to benefit ratio, I would say it has been the best purchase of any mattresses. This mattress also makes you feel so isolated from your spouse, that I would not know if my wife was kidnapped midnight by an intruder. This also goes for tempur, but I cannot say that for Ecosa, as one's sleepless nights have had contagious effect on my spouse. Typical complaints users moan about - yes all 3 gets hot. But I'm sure anyone with half a brain could work out how to mitigate that. Yes use less blankies. The other issue I am still experimenting - sex. If you like bouncy sex, forget all 3 - no, any - memory foam mattresses. The bouncy help you get from the spring mattresses do not exist on memory foam. In fact, you will sink into the floor trapped between the thik latex mass on either side of your hips that you would not be able to perform the necessary maneuvers. Yes you will need to be creative with your positions. If you could handle these issues, you will enjoy the best sleep money can buy without breaking your bank or getting a divorce.”

“We’ve actually decided to send ours back, the bed was quite hard but we go used to that, it was more because we got too hot, we chose Winkl over Ecosa because it said it had a layer between the memory foam and where you sleep but even with that we still found it too hot and that’s with it being winter. If you’re someone who gets cold at night it’s be great but for both of us it was just too hot!”

“The lux mattress is an extremely comfortable mattress. I had two bad nights' sleep on it when it first arrived, because I'd not slept on memory foam before. Now that I'm used to it I adore it. I have the deepest, most restful sleeps and all my muscles and joints feel relieved by the support. We wanted a bed that wasn't saggy and soft in the middle, but one that made us feel like we were sleeping on something really soft, without any lack of support beneath that softness, and that is exactly what this bed is. Love it.”
