“These channels worked out great for me. Sliding in the 10mm addressable LED strip was a breeze. I ended up changing my mind on using acrylic as my light medium and went instead with an old closet mirror and translucent window privacy film. I had a gap though so I used that line they use for the house window screens to stuff the screen into the frame. I found the mirror worked the best for getting the light from the LEDs as far up as possible. You can still see darkness in the middle but overall I'm happy with how it turned out. But that's my engineering. It's 18inches high so that quite a distance for simple LED light to travel. 4feet wide. Anyway, the channel is great for LED stripes if you are looking for that application. My only 2 issues are 1. No devices/brackets to connect mitered joints (I used black duct tape) and 2. Their profiles are tappered front and back instead of flat. I really wanted flat but there was enough surface area on the edges so that the industrial double sided tape held it. I knew this going into it but purchased them anyway. I would love to see a flat version someday. It's also easy to cut with my miter saw. Otherwise it's a very good quality and nicely engineered product.”
