“Just one caution is that while it lets a flat head screw go flush, based on the hardness of the material into which the clip is set, it may not flush to to that material. The material I was setting it into was ipe wood, which is hard as a rock. The clip may be designed not to go flush since when it does not go flush it spins on the screw. That may be by design because this lets you clip the profile and provides a little flexibility. My installation therefore left a slight gap between the profile and wood, which is ok. An alternative would be to countersink your screw a little if going into a hardwood or other hard material. I'm sure a trades person who works with these clips would learn this, but for a first time user some instructions might be helpful. The clip is well made. Mine was black so I pre-treated it with a preservative not knowing what metal it is made of.”
