“We found the Smokies38 tubes to be great at light diffusion and were very pleased with them. We did have some trouble connecting our custom structure together with only the provided parts. The Aluminum base was about a .25" too large for the 1.5" pole, so we ended up 3D printing a sleeve to make the connection tighter. We also had to make some custom 3D printed pieces to reinforce the joints on the other parts of the structure because they kept getting disconnected.”
