“Doesn't really work as described in that the bottom plates don't stay up after most hits, and if they do they always fall after subsequent hits to other bottom plates. This is at 125m with a 22lr with subsonic ammo. This isn't a big problem, it's still fun to shoot the plates and I mostly shoot the top plate anyway. I'm pretty happy, particularly given the price. I only rate two stars because it doesn't work as described. On the upside the steel is holding up perfectly. I've shot the top plate at least 500 times and there is no pitting of the impact surface. Lead splatter has stripped paint off the frame, which is rusting. This is to be expected. The other slight pain is that when staked into the ground at a forward angle as intended, each hit pushes the target back slightly. After a few dozen solid hits the whole thing tends to pull out of the ground and fly backwards. This is amusing, but you need to walk down into the paddock to reset. A better ground anchor system, or even longer legs would help. I might end up wiring the target to a star picket to eliminate this slight inconvenience. I'd recommend this target, assuming you didn't have your heart set on the bottom plates locking up”
