“Have run a couple of hundred very dirty cases through the Atac Pro tumbler with Atac Pro treated corn cob media. The results are very good. The cases are not shiny bright but are very clean with a matt finish, perfectly acceptable. No part of the cases was left uncleaned. The process did take many hours, (25 to 30) to complete to a good level, but the cases were very dirty. They had been in the cupboard for the best part of 30 years. The unit is pretty quiet, seals well and does the job. Good value at under a hundred dollars. Have had no experience with the more expensive units on the market but I find it very hard to believe they would perform 3 or 4 times better! Haven't tried it yet, but I will try molly-coating some projectiles with it at some stage in the future. I'm confident the seal will be good for the process. It didn't come with a sieve for separating the media from the cases, but most will have no trouble finding something suitable around the house to perform this function if feeling through the media is not your thing. Overall, a good value-for-money product. I would have no hesitation in recommending this product on its function and results achieved so far.”

“As far as affordable vibrating tumblers go, this one works great for cleaning brass cases. With crushed walnut media, you get a lot of dust. Walnut media cleans well but the brass doesn't come out shiny. There's almost no dust with crushed corn cob media and it cleans well too and the brass comes out shiny. If you want it polished, add some polish. The cases come out clean using either dry media. If you remove primers prior to cleaning, the primer holes won't be as clean as using wet media with steel pins and little pieces of the dry media get stuck in the primer pocket and flash holes. They are easily removed with a small pin punch or compressed air.”
