“I have had my YS640 for a few months now and absolutely love it! I have had a number of pellet smokers so I review this with the experience of working with a number of competitive versions as well. The Yoder is a Tank. Period. The steel is thick, heavy, and holds temperature. I have never had a grill hold a more even temp for a long cook than my Yoder. Beyond the consistent temp, many pellet grills feel similar but there are some standout features of the Yoder. The Fireboard integration brings unparalleled data to your cooking. The ability to monitor and control temps from you phone is possible with many grills, but they do not come even close to what Fireboard brings to the table. Additionally, a hidden gem of a feature. When you turn on the grill, the fans all run, even without a fire in the firepot. This creates the ultimate cold smoking machine. Finally, its important to highlight the brand behind the grill as well. Transparently, the first YS640 i ordered had an issue. Within 2 weeks I had a new grill delivered, the old one removed, a follow up email from the dealer, a follow up email from Yoder, and a follow up call from customer service to make sure everything was exceeding expectations. Every grill will have an issue at some point. Having a company that stands behind their product like Yoder did is exactly what I am looking for. 1 phone call, problem solved, and every call there after was to ensure satisfaction.”

“Thing is built like a tank and cooks super even across the different levels. Long smokes, quick sears, using it as an oven... it really does it all. Note that it's a wide boy, so depending on where you live and are going to set it up, you might want to make sure that it will clear doorways if you have to move it around. We didn't get it specifically for the FireBoard app, but man that thing is amazing at letting you know what's going on under the hood without having to go take a peek and manually measure (and open up and let that sweet, sweet smoke out!). Definitely not the cheapest pellet grill out there, but really tough to argue with the build quality and the results that come off of this sucker.”

“Late to the party of pellet smokers but I did a lot of research to determine which one to purchase. The Yoder YS640S has been absolutely amazing. Grilled a tri-tip with direct heat, smoked a prime rib and then finished over direct heat in 30 degree outdoor temps with no issue, smoke sausage in December and more. It's been better than I anticipated. Next up is the Yoder Flat Top and yes, I have a problem with grills but my wife is amazing and tolerates it”

“I bought my YS640s on September 18, 2020. It arrived ahead of schedule on October 6, 2020. I watched countless YouTube videos, read numerous reviews, looked at the pellet grills offered by competitors, and decided to purchase the Yoder. I have absolutely no regrets. My first cook was a brisket after the burn-in on the first night of ownership. Excellent. An 'A' on the first cook. The FireBoard technology, app, along with its easy set-up and use, was a pleasant surprise. I have a B** G**** E**, a PK and a W**** gas grill, and owned many other quality grills over the years. All great products. And I imagine I will still use them. Not criticizing them at all. But this pellet grill is exactly as advertised and as reviewed by the pros and amateurs, like me, alike. Buy this grill. It is worth the price. I highly recommend the optional diffuser with the access door and the grill grates. I have such grates on the aforementioned grills. And the other accessories? I didn't buy them, as Christmas is coming and now my family has something to buy for a guy who is hard to buy for. My grilling game Just took a big leap forward. If you cringe at the price, don't. They are worth it. Everything that I discussed with my dealer when I ordered it was accurate as far as the grill was concerned, and what to expect with the shipping process, and what they recommended as to accessories. The assembly process went smoothly. This thing weighs over 300 pounds, so you will need a ramp to get it up steps. My friend who owns a T****** was jealous at first sight. The folks at Yoder did their homework, and produce a superior product made right here in the middle of our great country. At at time when we all disagree about our politics, this is one thing we can all agree about if you buy a Yoder. Kudos to Yoder, their quality, and my dealer. Thank you for confirming what my research led me to do: Buy A Yoder pellet grill.”
